Candlewood Suites opens for extended stays

Just off of Interstate 10 in a quiet nook sits a new hotel — Candlewood Suites.
The recently built hotel at 2815 Lakeshore Drive W. has 114 rooms fully equipped not just for overnight stays, but for extended visits of several days, weeks, even months. The project represents an investment of nearly $10 million.
"We like to have that home-like feel," said Allen Harkins, co-owner of the establishment.
