Triumphs abound for Tallahassee Marathon participants

Kate McCabe burst into tears as she crossed the finish line at the 36th annual Gulf Winds Track Club Tallahassee Marathon Sunday.

"I never thought I could do something like this," she said, covered in sweat and wearing standard running attire of shorts and T-shirt.

Due to a birth defect, McCabe, 24, had her Achilles' tendons removed when she was 16 and replaced with silicone implants.
