SouthWoodbusiness group plans first meeting

SouthWood business owners and managers are invited to the inaugural meeting Sept. 10 of the SouthWood Business Association at the SouthWood Golf Club Restaurant. The luncheon begins at 12:15 p.m. Tom Berger, deputy director of real estate for the Florida Department of Management Services, will speak on the impact of new state offices opening next year in SouthWood. "Since there are dozens of businesses already located in SouthWood and more on the horizon, I thought this would be a great time for the owners and managers to meet each other and learn about changes coming to our area," said Glenda Conley, State Farm agent in SouthWood.
