Sustainable Tallahassee is excited to give a brief introduction to its books series. While the book discussions will occur separately from Green Drinks, we're excited to give a teaser on the first in our series
Cradle to Cradle,
Remaking the Way we Make Things
This revolutionary book raises many challenges and offers some practical solutions. Do you wonder what's actually in the product you're using? What does recycling mean and what is the difference between downcycling and sustainably recycling? Where exactly is "away" when we throw things away? How can we design products to mimic nature's example of sustainability? These and other questions will be discussed and addressed in brief at Green Drinks and in detail during our book discussion meetings. Come to Green Drinks help us shape the book discussion series.

On the last Wednesday of each month, people interested in making Tallahassee an Eco-friendly city meet up for a drink at informal sessions known as Green Drinks. We have a lively mixture of people from all sects. It's a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts. There's always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organizing network.

Come Have a Drink with us!
