Business Applications Programmer - Florida Department of Financial Services

Monthly Salary Range $3,511.98-$5,063.61. Starting salary will be determined based on experience.

The Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Rehabilitation and Liquidation (Receiver) seeks a Business Applications Programmer. The position performs: Analysis of business system problems, opportunities, and solutions; performs data conversions, compiles code and revises programs as needed; and trains end users.

Minimum qualifications: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in management information systems, information systems, engineering, mathematics and/or computer science and two years experience in engineering, mathematics, computer science, computer programming, management information systems, web design, information systems, and/or computer maintenance, or
Six years experience in engineering, mathematics, computer science, computer programming, management information systems, web design, computer, information systems and/or computer maintenance, or
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in one or more of the following:
Microsoft Visual Studio, specifically Visual FoxPro, Visual C++, Visual Basic, Microsoft.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Windows 2000 Network.
