Big Bend Hospice is offering a 2 hour program to be held November 19th and then again on December 7th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, that will provide practical tools for developing coping skills while grieving through the holiday season. “My mother-in-law passed away two years ago and while we miss her every day, the holidays are particularly bittersweet for my family without her,” said Ginny Burns, Volunteer Department Manager of Big Bend Hospice.

The Big Band Dance is the final event of the Alumni Association's centennial celebration. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Night at 7:00, my church is hosting the Singing Christmas Tree! We have awesome choral music, some really great soloists, a really cute kids choir and a 20-member orchestra! It's a really cool Christmas program, so everyone should come. Tickets are free
- 7.30-9pm, Angels and Strings Concert. Greek Orthodox Church (1645 Phillips Rd) Ladies Philoptochos Society (Friends of the Poor) sponsors this benefit concert. Free. Donations accepted. Christmas baklava pastry boxes available for purchase.
It's that time again. Come out to the Star Seas Cafe and enjoy some music that will chill your ears and/or gets your bones shakin'. Hopefully it's the latter because it's going to get cold this weekend. I recommend a dose of warm blanket and a coffee mug (Star Seas serves organic coffee).
Beer and wine will also be served, along with hot, tasty food and delicious desserts.
It will just be the Cicada Ladies and Rocket Falls this time, but we have some surprises up our sleeves.

More than 250,000 lights adorn the park grounds, gardens and buildings, along with a variety of holiday displays for the entire family to enjoy. Wakulla Springs State Park will host a holiday cruise and dinner on Saturday, Dec. 19 at 5 p.m.
Visitors are invited to take an evening out for a cruise on the Wakulla River followed by dinner in the historic lodge and an old fashioned sing-a-long in the lobby by the Christmas tree.
The cost is $32 for adults and $18 for children age 12 and younger.
Reservations are suggested and may be made by calling the park at 926-0700.

A Tribute to the Ed Sullivan Show is a Capital City Playhouse production written and directed by Mark A. Marple.
