Simultaneously, LeMoyne will showcase the Windows Art Project, a fund-raising project for the museum. Finally, the Hoover Gallery will host works by Jitka Lesakova-Manousakis, a fiber artist who works by layering fibers and threads to achieve depth. Start: 5:00 pm

Guiding Good Choices, a five-week interactive workshop for parents, is set to begin next month. The workshop will be held at 6 p.m. at the Carrabelle Boys and Girls Club on Tuesday, Sept. 1 and the following four Tuesday evenings. Participants will learn and practice skills for setting clear family guidelines, strengthening family bonds, helping children develop healthy behaviors, developing strategies to help your children avoid drug use and other adolescent problem behaviors, and increasing your children’s involvement in the family. | ||

The 20th Annual Coastal Cleanup program will be held in Franklin County on Saturday, and volunteers are needed to clean up Franklin County’s coast. If you would like to help, you can contact the Apalachicola Bay and Riverkeepers Group for all the information.
