July 4. Annual July 4th Parade. Sponsored by the St. George Island Business Association. Anyone can enter a float or vehicle, or participate in the parade. Line up in front of Harry A's at 10:00, parade starts at 11:00. Bring your water guns, but no water balloons.
Independence Day Tea Party: Speakers, music, games, food and fireworks. Activities are free, but it is $10 for adults and $5 for children for museum entrance. 3-9 p.m., Tallahassee Automobile Museum, 6800 Mahan Drive.
