After spending almost 20 years in various networking groups, Mike Campbell recognized a need for businesses to use their websites and online marketing more to their advantage. He believed that businesses should attain testimonials from past customers and also think regionally. In August of 2008, Mike used these ideals as a starting point to launch Trusteria.com. Since then, the company has added ways for students, consumers, and nonprofit organizations to benefit as well.

Although Trusteria facilitates interaction between businesses, nonprofits, and consumers via Trusteria.com, it is not just a website. The company provides tools for businesses to reach out to their past and current clients and request testimonials without asking for sales. Touching base with these former customers often leads to more business, but additionally, the businesses can use the information and feedback to attract prospective clients. Because Trusteria.com is a third party service company, it adds a level of credibility to the businesses. Consumers also benefit from the company as they are provided a free vehicle to post resumes, review posted job openings, or even just gather information about different businesses and nonprofits in the area. Trusteria.com, then, is the crucial middle man between businesses and the public, and aims to serve both. When people request a particular product or service, Trusteria.com refers them to the potential businesses that can help them; it is then up to the businesses to utilize their resources (such as testimonials and personal stories provided by Trusteria) to attain the customer.

Trusteria.com is involved in the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce as well as the Chambers in surrounding counties; in addition, the company has a hand in Tallahassee Society of Association Executives, North East Business Association, and Big Bend Society for Human Resources Management. Personally, Mike serves on the board of directors for the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and on the Board for Lanark Boat Club. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, and fishing at the coast.

Mike takes great pride in Trusteria.com; he loves seeing how the company is able to help businesses increase their sales in this economy. Trusteria.com was created for Leon and the surrounding seven counties, and Mike emphasizes that it will stay that way. As a result, businesses involved with Trusteria.com will continue to get individualized attention and they will be the ones that might end up expanding.
