Salah Bakhaswin: Licensed Massage Therapist in Tallahassee
After enjoying the benefits of massage therapy for so many years, Salah Bakhaswin couldn’t resist the temptation to learn the trade himself. He became licensed in 2006 and has been running his own practice ever since.
Though born elsewhere, Salah has lived in Tallahassee for the past 26 years and considers it his true hometown. Growing up, he endured frequent headaches and back pains. Not wanting to resort to perpetual medication, Salah received massage therapy instead. The activity became an important part of his lifetime commitment to health and wellness and he decided to further explore it.
Though originally certified three and a half years ago in areas like sport therapy, Salah is currently pursuing medical therapy in addition. His main services include various forms of heat therapy and spa services and treatment for clients; he also offers wellness products that clients can take home and use at their pleasure. Given his own history with physical ailment, Salah is greatly dedicated to helping relieve his clients from chronic pain and stress along with helping them relax. He loves his job and industry and is always looking for new techniques to learn. To further the knowledge base of others in the field, he even teaches part time at the Core Institute in Tallahassee on nights.
To give back to the community he has called home for so many years, Salah dedicates his services to various organizations, schools, and senior citizens. He enjoys improving the wellness of others through his therapeutic skills.
Salah feels fortunate to have fixed his headaches and back pains through massage therapy instead of through endless doses of medicine. It is important to him to pass along the benefits of the trade to others in need as well. Recently, he has noticed massage therapy taking a bigger part in society; it is finally being recognized as a respected aspect of the medical field and an important method of improving overall health and wellness. Needless to say, Salah is excited about this growing trend and looks forward to spending many more years as a licensed massage therapist, evolving with the industry.
