While attending Florida State University, John worked part time painting and completing maintenance tasks. It was during this part time job that he discovered his interest in the industry—it was exciting, and he could see the progress he made at the end of every day. Tallahassee has been John’s home since he was three years old, so he is rooted here and feels connected to the community. With his business, he is involved in the Chamber of Commerce Leads Group 6, Tallahassee Builders Association, Remodelers’ Council, Better Business Bureau, Florida Home Builders’ Association, and National Association of Home Builders. On a more personal level, he shows his appreciation for God’s blessings in his life by serving the community as a Gideon, distributing Bibles to people in motels, hospitals, colleges, etc. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Rhonda, as well as fishing, improving homes, and watching and playing sports.
