Pro Players Realty: identifying Tallahassee residents’ home-buying needs
Recognizing his love for helping others find the best possible deals, John Stehmeyer saw something in the real estate industry and decided to open Pro Players Realty. For five years now, he has served Tallahassee residents in their quests to find the perfect homes.
Born in Ft. Lauderdale, John moved to Tallahassee when he was three years old and has lived here ever since. He attended Florida State University, then he opened his first business, Riverking Custom Painting, in 1988. Amidst improving the interior qualities of his customers’ homes, he was exposed to a myriad of real estate agents, contractors, and the like. He became acquainted with the real estate industry and decided to get involved as well. Currently, he runs both Riverking Custom Painting and Pro Players Realty.
As a realtor/broker at Pro Players Realty, John is specifically a buyer specialist and property marketing expert. Working solely in the residential field, the agency ensures its clients the best deals on the market. John’s team consists of four realtors, a marketing/administrative manager, as well as three other assistants. One of the realtors, his sister, additionally sells homes and condos on the Emerald Coast. John does not simply recommend the most affordable home to his clients; rather, he helps them identify the best investment for their lifestyles and money. If, for example, the client only wants to live in a particular home for five years, John will search for a home that will allow for a return profit when the time arrives.
John attributes his company’s success to God’s blessings. In his spare time, he also serves the community as a Gideon, distributing bibles to people in motels, hospitals, colleges, etc. He also enjoys fishing, home improvement, playing and watching sports, and spending time with his wife, Rhonda.
At the end of the day at Pro Players Realty, John appreciates his opportunity to help people find a home that best suits them. He believes he goes a step further than many realtors in the industry by looking closely at the needs of each individual buyer; he hopes to continue serving Tallahassee for many more years.
