In 1978, Keith McNeill started Keith McNeill Plumbing Contractors to service the commercial and residential plumbing and remodeling needs of Tallahassee. As Keith is in the process of retiring, his son, Chase, runs the company as vice president.
Born and raised in Tallahassee, Chase grew up surrounded by the family business. At 13 years old, he went to work for his dad and started learning the industry. While attending Florida State University in pursuit of a housing degree, Chase continued working full time. It wasn’t until his senior year that he decided to take some time off in order to ensure a timely graduation. He received his bachelor’s and then rejoined the company full time, moving into management at the age of 23.
The company offers plumbing, new construction, remodeling, and additional service work for both commercial and residential projects. What makes Keith McNeill Plumbing Contractors unique, though, is the absolute dedication to customer service. Because problems can occur at any time, the business offers 24/7 emergency service. Chase emphasizes that fair prices and quality work only go so far and that actually carrying out promises is critical to the company’s success.
In addition to serving customers, Chase gives back to his hometown in various ways. Professionally, he is involved with the Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, Tallahassee Builders Association, Tallahassee Association of Professional Remodelers, Business Network International, and the Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors, to name just a few of many. On a more personal basis, Chase is involved with some non-profit organizations such as Ducks Unlimited, Coastal Conservation Association, and Quality Deer Management Association. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, archery, and sports. He also loves spending time with his wife of three years and their two dogs.
Although Chase originally joined Keith McNeill Plumbing Contractors because it was his dad’s business, he has thoroughly enjoyed working in the industry and with customers. He often looks for ways to provide more benefits to his customers and is always doing what he can to help the company stand out among competitors. He looks forward to many years ahead of running and improving the family business.
